Jack Arruda

Project Manager, Technical

Jack worked for EMI in plant operations and maintenance from 1991 to 2000 and was involved in construction, and start-up of EMI's Dartmouth and Dighton facilities. He has twenty years of combined cycle power generation experience. Most recently, Jack worked for GE Energy as the Facility Manager of Tiverton Power, an EMI developed 270MW combined cycle generation facility located in Tiverton, RI.

Jack manages the technical aspects of the Cape Wind project including the interconnection agreement, cabling, offshore substation, port facility matters and is part of the team negotiating Cape Wind’s equipment supply, construction and maintenance contracts. Prior to working in the power generation field Jack worked as a Merchant Mariner. Jack holds a degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
